Even in California marine engines need to be properly prepared for the off season. It is the best protection if your craft is not going to be used for an extended period of time. Winterization removes remaining water in the most at risk and susceptible areas of your PWC, outboard, and inboard. Protect your craft from rust, corrosion, and damage caused by water that may be trapped in the engine. Water vapor that is remaining in the engine’s cylinders can lead to rust and corrosion of the cylinder walls and spark plugs, greatly reducing the life of your engine. With proper maintenance (water removal, lubrication, and electrical), you can keep your craft running smooth and help avoid malfunctions that could be dangerous and/or costly repairs in the future.
